Bank of the Islands receives Three Best of the Islands Awards

Bank of the Islands was recognized with three Best of the Islands awards at a September 25 luncheon at the Sundial Beach Resort & Spa on Sanibel Island. Attended by representatives of more than 50 island businesses, the annual awards luncheon was presented by the Sanibel Captiva Islander and Reporter.

Each year, the Sanibel Captiva Islander and Reporter sends out ballots allowing the public to vote on their favorite businesses, services and organizations. Bank of the Islands won in all of the categories for which it was nominated, being voted the Best Island Bank, Best Mortgage Broker and Best Financial Services Provider.

With the receipt of this most recent recognition, Bank of the Islands has been voted the winner of 41 “Best of the Islands” awards since 1999, including being chosen the Best Island Bank for 20 years straight.

Mark Martens, senior advertising account executive at the Sanibel Captiva Islander and Reporter, said the luncheon was “a huge success again this year”.
