CROW’s 38th Taste of the Islands Announces Bank of the Islands/Edison National Bank as Presenting Sponsor

The Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife (CROW) welcomes Bank of the Islands/Edison National Bank as the returning Presenting Sponsor for the 38th Taste of the Islands.  This marks the banks’ tenth year as the Presenting Sponsor of CROW’s signature event.

CROW’s Executive Director Alison Charney Hussey welcomes their return: “We are extremely appreciative of Bank of the Islands/Edison National Bank’s continuing support of CROW and our work saving local wildlife. A decade of support as the presenting sponsor for our event exemplifies their commitment to help the community and the environment.”

Taste of the Islands will be held on Sunday, November 10, at the Sanibel Community Park. Gates open at noon and close at 5 p.m. The event features live music and showcases Sanibel and Captiva Islands’ vibrant and diverse restaurant community. Returning this year, event attendees can get a ‘taste’ of CROW and meet the Animal Ambassadors in the Sanibel Community House.

Admission to Taste of the Islands is $7 and children younger than 12 years of age are free.  Guests purchase CROW Bucks to get their “tastes” from participating restaurants.  Both are available for purchase at the event and in advance through CROW’s website to be picked up at the Will Call booth at Taste of the Islands. Item prices range from one to six CROW Bucks.

Proceeds from Taste of the Islands ensure CROW’s continued success providing the highest quality care and treatment of injured, ill and orphaned wildlife through state-of-the-art veterinary care. Funds also support public educational exhibits at the Visitor Education Center. Healthy wildlife means a healthy environment for all of us.
