Bank of the Islands donates to SCCF

Bank of the Islands recently made its latest non-profit donation through its “We Love Our Islands” program.  Bank customers and longtime islanders Karen Storjohann and Alex Werner were the lucky winners. Storjohann and Werner decided that the Bank’s $2,000 donation should be given to SCCF, the Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation.

This donation marks $142,200 given away to date through Bank of the Islands’ “We Love Our Islands” program. It also represents the third donation since the Bank doubled the weekly outlay for the program.

“We are so glad Karen and Alex chose SCCF for our latest donation,” said Bank of the Islands President Robbie Roepstorff. “As a corporate partner and as volunteers, our Bank and our staff have enthusiastically supported all the work SCCF has done for decades to make our islands and our coastal region such a special place – both for wildlife and for those of us lucky enough to coexist with nature.”
