Bankers join Heights Foundation for Three Fall Events

The Heights Foundation has been very busy raising funds for its Harlem Heights neighbors this fall, and Bank of the Islands/Edison National Bank is standing shoulder-to-shoulder to support this longstanding non-profit’s mission-driven work.

Specifically, the Bank has once again made a substantial gift to support Heights’ back-to-school initiative helping 500 students.

In addition, the Bank is stepping up as a Birdie Sponsor for the September 27 Swing FORE the Kids Golf Tournament at The Plantation’s signature course.

Finally, the Bank will once again be a Wrangler Angler Sponsor at the Saltwater Cowboy benefit evening on October 18 at MarineMax.

“since its founding in 2000, The Heights Foundation has provided invaluable resources for our Harlem Heights neighbors,” said Bank President Robbie Roepstorff. “Lee County would not be the same without their tireless work, and we are proud to support them throughout the year. We are always so pleased to see our Fort Myers and island neighbors and customers come out for these events, and we hope to see them again this year.”

There is still time to become a sponsor, register to play, or buy tickets to attend Swing FORE the Kids and Saltwater Cowboy. To learn more, call 239-482-7706 or visit www.heightsfoundation.org.

Celebrating the 27th anniversary of its founding, Edison National Bank/Bank of the Islands is the oldest locally owned and managed community bank in Lee County. With offices in Fort Myers, Sanibel, and Captiva, the Bank is strongly rooted in the community and actively supports civic and charitable causes through both donations and volunteerism. As the only locally owned and managed community bank on Sanibel and Captiva, Bank of the Islands is proud to be the winner of more than 50 “Best of the Islands” awards over two decades.
