Bank of the Islands Renews $2,500 Thanksgiving F.I.S.H. Challenge
Bank of the Islands President Robbie Roepstorff is pleased to recognize the Bank’s returning role as a Food for F.I.S.H. Partner as the holiday season draws closer. In that capacity, Bank of the Islands Sanibel Office is an official Food Drive Drop-Off Site for the F.I.S.H. Thanksgiving Food Drive.
From October 28 – November 15, the Bank is requesting donations of unopened, unexpired, and non-perishable food items. As Thanksgiving approaches, holiday items such as boxed stuffing, canned cranberry sauce, canned green beans, canned or jarred turkey gravy, and canned protein such as chicken are especially appreciated.
“For many years, we have been honored to keep a large food donation chest in our Sanibel lobby year-round to benefit F.I.S.H.,” said Roepstorff. “At this time of year, though, we hope to encourage extra donations with a special incentive for our customers and island neighbors.”
During the three-week Thanksgiving Food Drive, Bank of the Islands will make a $100 donation to F.I.S.H. in honor of each of the first 25 individuals dropping off their food donations to the Bank lobby.
“We’re eager to make this $2,500 contribution to F.I.S.H., so please be one of the first 25 to bring a gift of Thanksgiving food to our Sanibel lobby,” said Roepstorff.
