Bank of the Islands donates to CECI

Bank of the Islands recently made its latest non-profit donation through its “We Love Our Islands” program.  Longtime islanders Steve and Lena Brown were the lucky winners. The Browns selected the Children’s Education Center of the Islands (CECI) to receive the Bank’s $1,600 donation.

This donation marks $145,800 given away to date through Bank of the Islands’ “We Love Our Islands” program. It also represents the fifth donation since the Bank doubled the weekly outlay for the program.

“We’re so happy the Browns chose CECI for our latest donation,” said Bank of the Islands President Robbie Roepstorff. “Being able to use this moment to help celebrate CECI’s 50th anniversary means a great deal to us. We are proud of our longstanding partnership with CECI. They continue to be a formative institution for raising future generations of young islanders.”

All islanders are invited to visit the Bank’s Sanibel or Captiva office to pick up a vehicle decal and learn more about the “We Love Our Islands” program and how you and your favorite charity can become our next lucky winners.
