Bank of the Islands Sponsors Shell Museum Gala and Lecture Series

The Bailey-Matthews National Shell Museum & Aquarium is receiving Bank of the Islands’ support in two ways – as the Presenting Sponsor of the Museum’s 2025 Lecture Series as well as a Lightning Whelk Sponsor for its Still the One Gala on February 8.

“We are so proud to be supporting this year’s gala as well as the lecture series,” said Bank of the Islands President Robbie Roepstorff. “Saluting the Museum’s 30th anniversary is such an important milestone and a great time to highlight the unique qualities of this island institution!”

After opening its doors 30 years ago, the Bailey-Matthews National Shell Museum & Aquarium remains the one and only accredited museum in the United States for shells, mollusks, and their ecosystems. Following the sold-out first lecture in the 2025 Series, the remaining educational events will take place on February 13, March 13, and April 3. To learn more, please visit www.shellmuseum.org.
