Children’s Education Center unveils Bench for Bank of the Islands

The Children’s Education Center of the Islands (CECI) has recognized a major gift from Bank of the Islands with the unveiling of a bench on CECI’s Casa Ybel Road campus.

“A great community is not complete without a strong commitment to early childhood education,” said Bank of the Islands President Robbie Roepstorff. “Fortunately, young families living or working on Sanibel and Captiva have CECI right here on our islands. We want that to be true for generations to come!”

The named bench was unveiled by CECI Executive Director Laura Miltner and Bank of the Islands VP David Lowden.

“With our Sanibel office just down the road from their campus, we know CECI has the perfect location for outdoor learning. It’s a great place to instill a love of our natural world in the open hearts and inquisitive minds of preschoolers. We’re happy to help support that good work,” said Roepstorff.
