Edison National Bank/Bank of the Islands supports local nonprofits during the holidays
Edison National Bank/Bank of the Islands recently supported several local organizations with donations this holiday season.
As part of the company’s culture of community giving, employees are encouraged to participate in the employee-led, year-long initiative to collect donations to purchase Christmas gifts at the end of the year.
This year, Edison National Bank/Bank of the Islands employees donated dozens of items to local nonprofits, including essentials like socks, underwear, blankets, hair care items, games, sports equipment, dolls, arts and craft kits and more. Beneficiaries of these items include the Children’s Advocacy Center of Southwest Florida, F.I.S.H of Sanibel-Captiva, The Heights Foundation and Urban Strategies, Inc.
“We are so excited to give back to local families this year through our employee-led initiative,” said Robbie Roepstorff, president of Edison National Bank/Bank of the Islands. “Seeing everyone come together to support our neighbors and help bring a little extra magic to Christmas is truly special. Now, children and families in our community will have gifts to open on Christmas Day!’”
