Bank Returns as Shell Show and Festival Sponsor

Bank of the Islands is proud to sponsor the 89th Sanibel Shell Show and Festival. The event will be held March 5-7, 2026 at the Sanibel Community House. Jointly hosted by the Sanibel Captiva Shell Club and the Sanibel Community Association (SCA), this longstanding “shellabration” is a favorite of islanders as well as visitors traveling from around the world to participate.

“As we all know, Sanibel and Captiva are the envy of the world when it comes to the shells washing ashore on our beaches,” said Bank President Robbie Roepstorff. “The Sanibel Captiva Shell Club, especially through its annual Shell Show and Festival, does so much to foster knowledge of and love for our precious gifts from the sea.”

With over 400 members in Florida and worldwide, the Sanibel Captiva Shell Club fosters education and conservation in the fields of conchology and malacology. To learn more, including how to become a member and attend their speaker series, visit www.sanibelshellclub.com.
