Edison National Bank/Bank of the Islands to offer fraud, scams and identity theft session July 18
Edison National Bank/Bank of the Islands is inviting the Southwest Florida community to participate in its fraud, scams and identity theft session on Saturday, July 18.
Local law enforcement agencies will have an open discussion and question-and-answer session to help residents recognize and report scams and detect, protect and report fraud and abuse.
The session will be presented by a representative of the Lee County Sheriff’s Office from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at Edison National Bank’s River District office, located at 2105 First St. in Fort Myers.
“Scams and identity theft can impact anyone, making community education, prevention strategies and access to resources a top priority for us,” said Geoffrey Roepstorff, CEO of Edison National Bank/Bank of the Islands. “We are pleased to host this session and partner with local experts to better support our customers and the Southwest Florida community.”
