Bank of the Islands joins as Go Wild for Ding Sponsor
Bank of the Islands is proud to return as a Protector Sponsor for the 2025 Go Wild for Ding gala. The event will take place on Wednesday, February 12 at the Sanibel Community House.
“We are so proud to be supporting this year’s gala with its ‘Dreaming of a White Pelican’ theme,” said Bank of the Islands President Robbie Roepstorff. “People come from all over the world hoping to see the American White Pelicans as they migrate through Ding Darling every year. Those of us who call Sanibel and Captiva home should never take for granted that we have this remarkable National Wildlife Refuge right in our own backyard. When you consider all the terrific programs the Ding Darling Wildlife Society produces for the public annually and the beautiful Education Center, we are truly living with a national treasure!”
Go Wild for Ding is the major annual fundraising event of the “Ding” Darling Wildlife Society (DDWS). The evening will be highlighted by dinner, entertainment, auction offerings, and fun. Proceeds from the event will benefit the conservation and education efforts at the J.N. “Ding” Darling National Wildlife Refuge. To learn more, please visit www.dingdarlingsociety.org.
