Bank of the Islands Lead Sponsor for 4th of July Road Rally

On the occasion of its 45th annual event, the Friends of Randy of Sanibel are pleased to announce Bank of the Islands is its new Lead Corporate Sponsor for its Fourth of July Road Rally.

“We are truly honored to join Randy Carson and his friends in this presenting partnership,” said Bank of the Islands President Robbie Roepstorff. “Given our other community engagements, it is a great fit for us to help them raise much needed funding for CROW and recognize the City of Sanibel’s 50th anniversary with the Rally’s ‘50 Years in Car Grills’ theme this year. This is exactly the kind of tradition that makes our island community so special.”

Kicking off at noon at Timber’s Restaurant following Sanibel’s Independence Day Parade, the rally is a scavenger hunt during which competitors drive Sanibel streets, with the winner being judged on total mileage, time to the finish line, and number of correct answers to island trivia questions.

As the oldest locally owned and managed community bank in Lee County, Bank of the Islands is proud to be the winner of more than 50 “Best of the Islands” awards including “Best Island Bank” numerous times. The Bank has retained a 5-Star Superior Rating from BauerFinancial for more than a decade. The Sanibel office of Bank of the Islands is located at 1699 Periwinkle Way, at the corner of Casa Ybel Road. The Captiva office is at 14812 Captiva Drive, next to the Captiva Post Office.
