Bank of the Islands Sponsors BIG ARTS 2025-2026 Film Series

Bank of the Islands is pleased to become the Presenting Sponsor of the BIG ARTS Monday Night Film Series. For more than 25 years, BIG ARTS has built a solid reputation for screening critically acclaimed international films. Selections are made from film festivals worldwide including the Cannes, Telluride, and New York Film Festivals.

“This film series is a real treasure for our island community,” said Bank President Robbie Roepstorff. “Especially because Sanibel has lost its first-run movie theater, this series is a great cultural amenity for our neighbors and visitors alike. I think you’ll find there really is something for everyone in BIG ARTS’ film choices for this season. As the late film critic Roger Ebert would famously say, ‘See you at the movies!’”

Every Monday Night Film Series screening includes the opportunity to enjoy refreshments and participate in the post-screening guided talk.

Starting with its October 6 screening, the Film Series will continue on most Monday evenings for eight months into May 2026. To learn more about the 2025-2026 Monday Night Film Series, visit www.bigarts.org or call 239-395-0900.
