Bank of the Islands Welcomes Love Sanibel Back Shell Strollers
Bank of the Islands proudly served as one of the stops on Sanibel’s first ever Love Sanibel Back Shell Stroll. Throughout the day, approximately 100 strollers of all ages stopped in to receive a shell gift as well as freshly baked cookies, coffee and chilled water. After getting their Shell Stroll Passports stamped by Bank of the Islands Concierge Kelsey Hamilton, participants ended their stroll around participating Sanibel businesses by gathering at St. Michael’s & All Angels Episcopal Church to enjoy shell painting stations, ice cream, seashell cookies, and shell-themed prizes.
“We are so pleased to be a partner in Love Sanibel Back,” said Bank of the Islands President Robbie Roepstorff. “Events like the Shell Stroll are a great way for islanders to meet their neighbors and support the local business community. This partnership fits squarely within the island culture we all value so dearly. It’s another great way for Bank of the Islands to show how much we appreciate being your island bank.”
With the theme of “Shop Local. Support Local. Love Sanibel Back.”, this event series is organized by St. Michael’s & All Angels Church in partnership with the Sanibel business community and island neighbors. Events have been held on a weekly basis throughout the summer.
