Bank of the Islands gives to CROW

Bank of the Islands recently made its latest non-profit donation through its “We Love Our Islands” program. The lucky winner, Nanny’s owner Megan Shores, was spotted with a “We Love Our Islands” decal on her vehicle, winning her the right to select which local non-profit organization would receive a charitable contribution from Bank of the Islands. Shores chose to donate the bank’s $3,100 to CROW. That donation marks $87,400 given away to date through Bank of the Islands’ We Love Our Islands program.

“As a longstanding sponsor of CROW’s Taste of the Islands, we are delighted Megan has chosen our region’s preeminent wildlife clinic for the bank’s most recent donation to an island nonprofit,” said Willy Ocasio, Bank of the Islands Vice President and Sanibel-Captiva Office Manager.  “This donation is a great way to show how much we appreciate being your island bank!” The We Love Our Islands winner Megan Shore also made a new corporate citizenship announcement:  “Following this donation to CROW, Nanny’s wants to continue giving back to the island it calls home. For the first Sunday of November 020 through April 2021, Nanny’s pledges to give 10% of our sales proceeds to an island nonprofit organization,” shared Shores as Nanny’s owner. All islanders are invited to visit the bank’s Sanibel or Captiva office to learn more about the “We Love Our Islands” program and how you and your favorite charity can become our next lucky winners.
