Beth Countryman speaks at HERstory Tea Party
Edison National Bank’s Vice President, Beth Countryman, was a recent guest speaker at the Dr. Piper Center’s HERstory Tea Party on March 20.
Held at Dedicated Senior Medical Center, the celebration honored the remarkable legacy of Dr. Ella Mae Piper, a local philanthropist, trailblazer and visionary leader. The event coincided with Dr. Piper’s birthday, International Women’s Day and Women’s History Month.
Beth participated in the “Breaking Barriers: Strategies for Success” segment, where she shared her perspective on overcoming industry challenges, navigating leadership roles and empowering other women to advance.
The event created a space for women to share their stories of resilience, leadership and breaking barriers. As women in the financial sector continue to make significant strides in a traditionally male-dominated field, Beth’s experience underscored the importance of innovation and paving the way for future leaders.
The Dr. Piper Center for Social Services seeks to enhance the social and economic well-being of individuals 55 and older who reside in Southwest Florida, making a positive impact in the lives of the elderly, at-risk youth and special needs children.
